How it started
I grew up around cakes. My great aunt had a hobby bakery and I was by her side every single time. Remember those Barbie cakes with the decorated cake skirt? That was my specialty as a preteen.
Fast forward to today, and cake decorating is still my passion. I have been in the cake business in Springfield, Missouri for over 40 years, with 20 of those years in the wedding industry.
Along the way I have made cakes for countless Springfield celebrations, from first birthdays to fiftieth anniversaries. After all these years, I still get the same thrill handing over a cake that makes someone's whole face light up.

What makes my cakes different
Every one of my cakes is finished with buttercream icing and real fresh-fruit filling, no gels and no glazes. Basically, it's made with love.
Care, quality, and hand decorating are what set my cakes apart from the rest. You can count on them always being beautifully decorated and delicious. A cake should be a focal point of your celebration, and it should taste every bit as good as it looks.
Wedding cakes are my specialty, but I love it all: birthdays from the 1st to the 100th, baby showers, gender reveals, anniversaries, retirements, holidays, and every big milestone in between. Whatever you're celebrating, I would love to make it sweeter.
