How do I order a cake?
Every order starts with a free tasting. Reach out through the website or call or text (417) 840-3883, and Sonja will talk through your design, flavors, and guest count, let you taste the options, and give you a clear quote.
How far in advance should I order?
The earlier the better. Popular dates, especially spring and fall weekends, tend to book up. Reach out as soon as you have a date and Sonja will let you know if it is still open. For wedding cakes, a few months ahead is ideal.
How much does a custom cake cost?
Custom cakes are priced by the serving, so the total depends on your guest count, design, and flavors. Sonja keeps things affordable and will give you an exact, all-in quote at your free tasting, with no surprises.
What flavors and fillings do you offer?
A wide range of cake flavors, finished with buttercream icing and real-fruit fillings, never gels or glazes. You will get to taste flavors and fillings at your tasting and build the combination that is right for your celebration.
What kinds of cakes do you make?
Wedding cakes, birthday cakes, baby shower and gender-reveal cakes, holiday cakes, anniversary cakes, and just-because cakes, plus cupcakes. If you are celebrating something, Sonja can make a cake for it.
Is the tasting really free?
Yes. Every order starts with a free, no-obligation tasting. It is the best way to fall in love with the flavors and talk through your design before you decide.
What areas do you serve, and do you deliver?
Celebrations by Sonja serves Springfield and Southwest Missouri, including Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Rogersville, Battlefield, and nearby towns. Ask Sonja about delivery and setup for your event when you reach out.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit reserves your date on the calendar. Sonja will walk you through the details when you book your tasting.
